Philosophy
We believe superior childcare is an essential part of family in today's society. Our Center is committed to providing services that support and contribute to the well-being of our families.
We believe children's experiences during the early childhood years influence the rest of their lives. Children at Leaps and Bounds Preschool and Infant Center start wherever they are on the developmental continuum and grow and learn at their own pace.
We believe a variety of play experiences in an enriched setting coupled with teachers who facilitate learning by guiding, questioning and assisting in developing skills affords each child the opportunity for a successful and positive early childhood experience.
We believe children deserve to be cared for by adults who genuinely enjoy young children. Our staff values the uniqueness of each child while encouraging the children to value each other.
Staff
Our friendly staff welcomes you to Leaps and Bounds and invites you to learn about us by visiting us at the Center with your child. We want to get to know you and your family.
Our teachers have a variety of early childhood backgrounds and each is certified by the state of California to teach preschool. Our infant and toddler teachers are certified as well. You will find them caring, patient, and enthusiastic as well as trained to assess and recognize the developmental needs of your child.
We give our teachers a comprehensive overview of our methods, standards and curriculum before they are assigned to teach our children and encourage and support ongoing training and professional development.
